Container ship orderbook-to-fleet ratio highest since 2009

Maritime Strategies International, has revised its forecasts to reflect the latest wave of orders. It expects deliveries to approach 5 million TEU in 2028, equivalent to approximately 13% of the fleet at the end of 2027, even assuming the scrapping of 500,000 TEU.
